Mrs. Santello's

I have joined the staff of Harvey Elementary after 29 years of teaching in Manatee County.  I have worked at both Palma Sola Elementary and Willis Elementary.  In addition to this, I have taught grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and have taught a Science Lab Specials Area.  I have both a Bachelors of Science in Education from USF and a Masters Degree in General Science from Nova Southeastern University.  I am also Gifted Endorsed. I have kept myself informed of many educational changes and research over the last 31 years.  I love to learn about my career and, well, just about anything!

I have two wonderful sons, Michael and Thomas.  They are both in their 20's and we still have fun spending time together.  At home we have our 2 Doxie brothers - Buddy and Baxter.  In addition to this, we each have our own cat - Sarah is mine, Olga hangs with Michael, and Kate, with the incredible green eyes, loves Thomas!  In addition to these sweet animals, I also own a horse!  Her name is Selena (Lena most of the time!) and I just love her and all her horsey friends at the barn!  There are about 25 horses on site, so I have a LOT of fun helping to take care of and love on all these beautiful animals.
